Usa Jingu is a shrine in Usa City, Oita Prefecture, built in 725. It is the head shrine of over 40,000 Hachimangu shrines in Japan.
Yabusame (Mounted archery) is held on the middle day of the Natsukoshi Matsuri (summer festival) to pray for peace, a rich harvest and people's health.
